Creative and expressive approaches to therapy
Therapy can be a place to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and create change that feels meaningful rather than performative.
My approach is trauma-informed, creative, and integrative. I draw from art therapy, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-informed approaches, adapting the work to the person rather than expecting the person to fit a particular model.
I work with adults navigating experiences such as trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, identity, major life transitions, and longstanding patterns that can feel difficult to shift.
Art-making may be part of therapy when it is useful, but no artistic experience is needed. Creative approaches can offer another way to explore experiences that are difficult to put into words, understand internal patterns, and make meaning.
Working together
My style is collaborative, engaged, and direct. I value curiosity, humor, creativity, and helping people understand not only what they are experiencing, but why.
